About This Sacred Month

The Holiest Month in the Hindu Calendar

Purushottam Maas — also called Adhik Maas or Mal Maas — is an intercalary month in the Hindu lunisolar calendar, occurring once every three years. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Purushottama), this month is supremely auspicious for performing yagnas, havans, kathas, and charitable acts.
